Do we need to fight? No, majority said so.Do we need to defend ourself? Some say yes some no.Focus on one that say Yes; ask them why and to defend against what?Majority said against the bad people so that we can fight back...ordefend ourself. With these statment can you see it all went back to square one, which is why needed. An indirectly for the people who said No to martial arts will finally said Yes in the end. Who said we need to fight or become a fighter when we learn martial arts. Good martial artist = good health.
Martial arts for good health
Many martial art lead to better health. Tai CHi for instant, the practictioner will have a good health. And for those who have some illeness or problem with their body can practise Tai Chi and as their ailment...that is what been claimed by Tai Chi masters and practictioner. And of cause on top of everything, disipline is the key. Whether you practise Tai Chi or not having a good health is the key of good life. The same goes to all other martial arts, they all lead to better health, good for the body. As long as they don't contest or test their new ability with each others. As you can see this incident happened long time a ago especially during the chinese dynasty era.
Martial art contest
During those year, many so call expert or master has been contesting or fight among each other in search for the best of the best among them. Their reward is nothing but EGO. By now I think
most of us know that there's no such thing as the best of the best martial art. Every martial art has their own history and research. THey even have their own R&D. So belief my there's no the best martial art, but every martial art is the best...in their own way. That is why some people learn so many martial arts form in search for the best.
So, as an advise keep on learning martial arts as a form of exercise towards a better health and living. Gains self confident and self esteem in the processes as bonuses.
